Since Sarah and Mike are getting married in the middle of winter, we thought it would be nice to have some photos taken outside without mittens. We went for a simple walk in the park (with the dog) to get some exercise and to celebrate summer!

Lots of love go out to Danielle and Andrew, who made it worth all of the driving across Toronto on their wedding day. From Cherry Street and North Shore Park to the downtown core and an outdoor reception that had the block grooving, it was a long day. Open the post already!
Even though it was a record-setting scorcher in T.O., everyone survived the photos and held up well throughout the night. It must have been all the fluids that kept them going. Thanks to the bridal party and to the great folks at Steam Whistle and the Cherry Street Restaurant for the help!

Congratulations to Alana and Ziyad, who were married in London, Ontario. They pulled off a truly international affair; capping off a great day with some fantastic surprise dancing that night. As usual, open the post for images.
A big thank you to Joanna and Alex, for throwing one of the most relaxing weddings I’ve attended. How often does the groom take time to go fishing between the cake cut and first dance? (Open the full post for images).
The ultimate casual wedding in Canada has to be getting married at the cottage on the dock. With a bit of boating, trekking through the forest, and some personal time in the hammock, you’re ready for dinner and drinks outside.
Kudos for proving that the laissez-faire wedding can be both fun and chic!

With their wedding only weeks away, I thought that I’d post a few images from this session in Elora Gorge. I absolutely love how comfortable these two are together. I’m eagerly awaiting the big day!
Congrats to Sarah and Jay on their marriage in Woodstock, Ontario! They were great to hang out with, even through all the rain. I still can’t believe this awesome broken down truck was on her family’s property (open the full post for images)!

Hello everyone!
I hope you like the new blog. It’s been added as a part of the ongoing website overhaul, and I really love how it integrates the style and functionality of the main site. I’ll do my best to keep the content fresh here, featuring updates filled with shots from photo sessions and PPOC sponsored events, advice, questions and discussion for photographers, as well as personal images (whenever I find the time for those).
Also, this is the place to look for deals and special promotional offers! I’ll be irregularly providing some fun and unique concept shoots – depending entirely on how packed my itinerary is.
Feel free to let me know what you think of the site’s features as they’re added; either continue to reach me via the facebook group page or post right here on the blog. I’ve recently added a whole new secure store / proofing gallery which is fab and fresh. Let me know if it’s cool enough to offset the load times. It’s best viewed with Adobe Flash (yeah, sorry Mac users). Check out a sample here. Expect some new features in the near future, including a whole pile of slideshow demo videos featuring bunches of images from past and current weddings: great if you’re curious to see more of my work, or if you want to creep your friends.
One last thing: I’ve replaced the previous blog with some added features to reduce spam, as well as a whole new database. As a result, visitors will no longer find working links to old posts. All pages are now fully viewable with or without flash from the root menu (no need to choose a site version, just drop by and visit).
