The Waterloo Region Museum made a great venue for an elegant ceremony. Mike and Sarah’s reception started out as an equally formal affair, followed by some serious partying. These two know how to have fun! Thank you to the DJs and the crazy dancers who kept the party going all night, it was a blast.

Congratulations go out to Kayla and Ryan! Not only did they walk across most of Harriston for their photos, they did it with a smile. It was easy to tell how much effort and planning went into their day. Thanks to the couple and their friends for the rocking party!

It’s not often I get the opportunity to photograph a wedding for a friend, but it’s always a blast. Sharing the day in Toronto with Kait and Geoff was no exception. It was wonderful catching up with old friends and making some new ones.

Oh my goodness, what a day!  Despite some  terrible weather that delayed the proceedings, knocked out the power and flooded the church (just a bit), you knew things would work out perfectly for these two in the end.   The bride’s surprise serenade for the groom was just one of a number of great memories.   I hope you guys had as much fun as I did!

When two dance instructors get married, you know that moves will be busted. Sure, the break dancing and choreographed bits were incredible; but that was to be expected on a day that featured so many things done just right. Check out the dance shots at the bottom of the post!

Highlights from this farm wedding included everything from carriage rides to magic tricks (and a killer sushi bar).  For more info about Jess and Mark’s day, you can read their feature in the fall issue of Your Wedding Portfolio.

Lots of love go out to Danielle and Andrew, who made it worth all of the driving across Toronto on their wedding day. From Cherry Street and North Shore Park to the downtown core and an outdoor reception that had the block grooving, it was a long day. Open the post already!

Even though it was a record-setting scorcher in T.O., everyone survived the photos and held up well throughout the night. It must have been all the fluids that kept them going.  Thanks to the bridal party and to the great folks at Steam Whistle and the Cherry Street Restaurant for the help!

I love how playful these two are, even making time for a bit of one-on-one soccer — cleats and all.  The ladies were all done up with henna, and did a great job on all the little details of the day. The guys didn’t look too bad either!  (Nice shades Pitbull).

Thanks again for the fun times!

A big thank you to Joanna and Alex, for throwing one of the most relaxing weddings I’ve attended. How often does the groom take time to go fishing between the cake cut and first dance? (Open the full post for images).

The ultimate casual wedding in Canada has to be getting married at the cottage on the dock.  With a bit of boating, trekking through the forest, and some personal time in the hammock, you’re ready for dinner and drinks outside.

Kudos for proving that the laissez-faire wedding can be both fun and chic!

Congrats to Sarah and Jay on their marriage in Woodstock, Ontario! They were great to hang out with, even through all the rain. I still can’t believe this awesome broken down truck was on her family’s property (open the full post for images)!

The couple had all sorts of fun accessories and memorable moments; from vintage phones, a sweet record collection, umbrellas, a green man, and Neil Diamond.  The dogs made their way into the pictures as well.

Thanks again for throwing an awesome party!
